Unfinished Business
As you trail through the valley,
Along with many cuckoos sing.
Soul finds solace in its rhythm,
Striking many chords within.

Stretching its arm open wide for you.
Punishing you with thunder and claps,
Array of pink, orange, ocean blue.

Kiss the droplets on my body,
It has never been kissed before.
Hold me tight as you do it,
Leaving it wanting for some more.

Wrapped or partially nude.
I am what I am,
I proudly wear my attitude.

Sometimes, I feel you are in me,
Yet sometimes, all agog,
I run after you.
Sometimes, you speak a million words,
Yet, I feel,
The unsaid is overdue.

Beautiful words accompanied by beautiful images.
ReplyDeleteI loved the first one most. It indeed stuck chords within my heart.

DeleteHope you complete all the poems.
I hope so too, Kiran.
DeleteGorgeous shots and words! I really like the first two.
ReplyDeleteShots are simply stunning. :)
DeleteWow..I can't pick just one...Complete all take your time but complete all
ReplyDeleteThat's really sweet of you, Naba. :)
DeleteHard to say which one...I have re-read them again, but not sure...sigh! they all do look unfinished though :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, they do look so. :)
DeleteTry to complete them all... they hide more than they reveal as of now:)
ReplyDeleteI will, Sir.
DeleteThese incomplete verses seem complete in themselves.
ReplyDeleteNow that is beautiful.
That's really encouraging! Thanks, Red :)
DeleteIt is hard to select just one. They all have loads of potential.
ReplyDeleteWill complete all then :)
DeleteAll are super, my personal favorite...vagabond in love!
ReplyDeleteI love that too :)
DeleteSaru, how could I choose only one aspect of love when there are many beautifully described? Pics are the exact complement of words.
ReplyDeleteThank you for a generous comment, Ravish. Welcome here!
Deleteall r superb..vagabond in love is my favourite!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - the words and images too!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteFourth is striking...beauty is what you carry within not superficiality
ReplyDeleteTrue that!
DeleteThough they're incomplete, but the beautiful words weaved together have made them complete in their own ways... :-)..wonderful Saru... :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for a lovely comment, Maniparna.
DeleteI loved the first and the last :)
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteSo profound and beautiful Saru...and the photos and lines are complimenting each other. Loved it all....Beautiful...:)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Priyashi!
DeleteKiss the droplets on my body,
ReplyDeleteIt has never been kissed before.
Hold me tight as you do it,
Leaving it wanting for some more.
Really Beutiful words
Thanks!
DeleteLovely poetry Saru, as always :)
ReplyDelete"The unsaid is overdue" .... beautiful Saru and the incomplete is intriguing too :)
ReplyDeleteNice starts. Build it up, so that we can have some memorables ones to quote for years to come. :)
ReplyDeleteI will, thanks for an encouraging comment Sabya!
Delete"Body to Body" i loved the most....I loved all of them...do finish them
ReplyDeleteSure, thanks for reading Datta.
DeleteKiss the droplets on my body,
ReplyDeleteIt has never been kissed before.

Romance has always been the first choice and its the same here too.
As women a lot in the real world happens to keep us away from our passions but then its only us who can keep the real and reel world in harmony. Hope you finish your business and soon and get back with a bang.
Yeah, there is a lot that happens around us and it all depends on us how to take it. Will complete it as soon as I find time.
DeleteAs you trail through the valley,

Beautiful lines to begin a beautiful poem. Touched!
Thanks and welcome here, Kunal!
DeleteOhhh! Are they incomplete? I am too intelligent to understand that :P What I can understand was the emotions you shared through the words...
ReplyDeleteTC! Keep smiling :)
LOL! :)
DeleteFirst why dont you shoot your own pictures they dont need to convey the angst of your words .. you could use your mobile phone too.. borrowed pictures rob your words of their intrinsic ethos of your minds imagery ,, take care ,,that is why I taught photography to my grand kids .. cheers .
ReplyDeleteMy photography skills are zero and I don't even have a cell. But I will keep your suggestion in mind.
DeleteThis one touched me like 70 volt mild yet electrifying current in landline phone wires :-P
ReplyDelete" Sometimes, I feel you are in me,
Yet sometimes, all agog,
I run after you.
Sometimes, you speak a million words,
Yet, I feel,
The unsaid is overdue."
Want to get its full version ASAP... hope everything is fine at your end... Cheers Saru :-)
That's a powerful comment. I so wish to complete it but words fail me.
DeleteI am doing good, hope the same for you. :)
The second and the last one are indeed very beautiful. Here's hoping you will find the inspiration to complete these poems :)
ReplyDeleteHope so too :)
DeleteYou need to finish all of them sweety....but if I have to prioritize it will definitely be
ReplyDelete1)Body-To-Body...the pic is so vivacious and just gets me all jiggled up and the words make me sweat....
2)Head Held High - always want that...I read somewhere a funny thing that if I ever let my head down, that will be only for admiring my own shoes :)
3)Vagabond in love - The last couplet captured my attention and I definitely want to know how the unsaid makes up the most.
4) SKy Myriad Hues and Kashmir, Lyrical Landscape....As a nature lover I enjoy those simple pleasures the most.
So which one are you choosing to finish 1st? hint: pick my 1st choice :D
That shoe thing is really nice, I think I must quote it somewhere, when need be. I want to finish the last one, first but not able to. Thanks a lot for your beautiful beautiful comment, Vidhya!
DeleteAmazing. I loved the last one the most !! Hope you would finish them soon :)
ReplyDeleteMe too, Jyotsna!
Deletewonderful :)
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteBeautiful lines all Saru. You should complete them...
ReplyDeleteYeah, waiting for more inspiration.
DeleteOh, it's one of the most beautiful poems ever written.
ReplyDeleteWell, all are just too good, and at this point i like 'body to body'the most....:)
ReplyDeleteIt's the second most favorite.
DeleteI loved the last one.. may be because I am feeling that right now.. And body to body is also surreal and beautiful. You create magic... and bring alive anything that could possibly be finding life.. you are awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so good to hear from you after a long long time. Thank you so much for a beautiful comment. :)
DeleteP. S. - Remember that WOW WOW WOW - barking comment ;)
